Wilkins Beach Barrie Family Photography Session

Wilkins Beach in Barrie has a certain magic to it. This small but picturesque area brims with photographic potential! Just a short stroll from the beach, you'll find a forest with stunning trails, a charming walking bridge, and even a ravine. It's the perfect location for capturing beautiful family photos in a setting that keeps everyone engaged and entertained.

Ashlee's vision for her engagement session was clear from the start: her children were to be an integral part of it but they all felt a little uncertain of how to be infront of the camera. Immediately I knew Wilkins Beach would cater to this perfectly as there is so much to explore.

This session started with getting those jitters out by using some of my prompts. Within five minutes smiles erupted and the tension eased, they were comfortable. The kids quickly warmed up, their initial shyness replaced by excitement. They started chasing each other, splashing in the shallow waves, and soon, Mom and Dad joined in too.

As we explored the different areas, I pulled Mom and Dad to be the focus so they too could have an album dedicated to just them and their engagement. I seperated the album for the purpose of a blog post but you can see the rest of the session BY CLICKING HERE.
